WebDynamic is a software which has been developed thanks to the Open Source LAMP Technology. LAMP stands for Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP, which are the four mainstays of what is nowadays considered a world-wide standard for web applications.
WebDynamic runs in a Linux server-side environment, so that it is possible to have a quite high savings level as regards software licenses, as this technology has been implemented freely by a large community of developers. Besides, it assures full compatibility with many other products.
All the scripts and, eventually, the databases containing the web site information are stored in the server. This improve the web site performance and enables effective web serches or multiple use of the same contents, as all the information is organized in a data structure.
Content management interfaces can easily be accessed through a regular web browser on a computer that is connected to the Internet. It is not necessary to install additional client-side software to manage web contents.
Page layout is pre-defined thanks to a set of web templates that are developed during the web site setup, so that the whole site maintain a certain degree of style consistency.
